Active Snakes & Ladders P.E. Game | Healthy Habits Printable Movement – based Board Game

Turn a classic board game into an active learning adventure! Healthy Habits vs Unhealthy Habits is a printable movement-based board game for P.E. Students move, complete challenges, answer health questions, and work together while learning about healthy choices.

Active Snakes & Ladders: Healthy Habits vs Unhealthy Habits is a printable board game designed especially for Physical Education lessons. It transforms the familiar snakes and ladders format into an active, colorful, and meaningful classroom experience.

Students work in small teams, roll the die, move around the board, and visit different color stations. Each color leads to a different type of task: movement challenges, team cooperation activities, strategy cards, or health knowledge questions. The game keeps children active while helping them reflect on healthy and unhealthy habits in a fun, age-appropriate way.

This is not just a board game. It is a movement-based learning tool that combines physical activity, teamwork, decision-making, and health education.

What students do in the game

Students are divided into small teams. Each team has its own pawn and rolls the die. Depending on the color of the square they land on, they go to the matching station and draw a card.

The card may include an individual movement challenge, a team task, a knowledge question, or a strategy card. After completing the challenge, the team applies the color result and continues the game.

The winning team is the first one to reach the final square.
